As part of activities to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC), in collaboration with the International Maritime Hospital (IMaH), organised a special health screening and awareness session for staff.
The initiative, led by Ms. Yvonne Phillips, Business Development Manager at IMaH, together with Edward, Dr H.M. Boateng, and their dedicated medical team, focused on the early detection of breast cancer and the importance of maintaining regular health check-ups.
Staff of PHDC had the opportunity to undergo breast screening and other medical checks, as well as receive practical health education on lifestyle habits that support long-term wellbeing.
During the session, the Deputy CEO, Operations and Technical, Onassis Rosely, encouraged staff to prioritise regular medical check-ups and emphasised the need to introduce more wellness-oriented activities, such as tennis and other fitness programs, within the Corporation to promote a healthier and more active workforce.
