The Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC), Dr Toni Aubynn, is leading a high-level delegation to the Global Energy Show Canada, scheduled to take place from Tuesday, June 9 to Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the BMO Centre in Calgary, Canada.

The Global Energy Show Canada brings together investors, policymakers, and key stakeholders in the global energy industry to examine how market dynamics are shaping investment decisions and to discuss infrastructure development and energy supply in an increasingly constrained and security-focused environment.

With over 30,000 participants and 500 exhibitors, the Global Energy Show connects industry leaders, capital providers, and strategic partners around the priorities shaping the next phase of global energy growth.

Held at a time when countries worldwide are seeking innovative solutions to strengthen energy security, the event provides the PHDC team with a strategic platform to position Ghana’s Petroleum Hub Project on the global investment stage and engage directly with key decision-makers and international investors.

As part of PHDC’s participation, Dr Aubynn will speak at the Executive Conference on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, under the theme “Capitalising on Canada’s Global Energy Leadership.”

During the conference, Dr Aubynn is expected to highlight the significant opportunities offered by the Petroleum Hub Project, including its potential to transform Ghana into a leading petroleum and petrochemical hub in Africa and to enhance regional energy security.

The engagement will also enable PHDC to build new partnerships, strengthen existing relationships, and promote the corporation’s vision of developing a world-class integrated petroleum hub that drives industrialisation, job creation, and sustainable economic development.

PHDC’s participation in this globally acclaimed event underscores its strong commitment to advancing the development of Ghana’s Petroleum Hub Project.
