The Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC) is set to participate in the 2025 Global Energy Show (GES), scheduled for June 10-12, 2025, in Calgary, Canada.
This announcement was made by the Chief Executive Officer of the PHDC, Dr. Toni Aubynn, during a courtesy visit from a two-member delegation from the Canadian High Commission on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Dr. Aubynn, along with his two deputies, Rosely Onasis and Halimatu Sadia Abdulai Abu, hosted Andrew Maharaj, Counsellor (Commercial) and Regional Senior Trade Commissioner, and Peter Fiamor, Trade Commissioner at the Canadian High Commission.
Dr. Aubynn shared with the Canadian delegation that the PHDC views the GES as a strategic platform for engaging with potential investors. He emphasized that, as the PHDC seeks funding for the Petroleum Hub project, it intends to utilize every credible platform to forge relationships with investors and secure necessary investments.
Andrew Maharaj encouraged the PHDC to align its planned roadshow with the timing of the GES. He suggested that positioning the GES as the climax of the roadshow could yield significant opportunities and results for the PHDC. Maharaj also expressed his readiness to offer his expertise to ensure the PHDC’s successful participation in the event.
