The second iteration of the Petroleum Hub Development Corporationโ€™s (PHDC) “Letโ€™s Go To Asia” initiative has commenced in Japan, as part of the ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD-9).

The PHDC is spearheading a delegation of prominent Ghanaian private enterprises to engage in TICAD-9โ€™s diverse seminars and conferences, facilitating connections with Japanโ€™s elite public and private business networks.

During their time in Japan, the PHDC will facilitate interactions with Japanese public and private institutions to foster new bilateral relationships, reinforce existing ties, and create a platform for knowledge exchange between Ghanaian entities and their Japanese counterparts.

Among the distinguished Ghanaian companies participating in the Japan segment of the Letโ€™s Go To Asia 2025 initiative are Rockfield Mining & Construction Ltd., Strategic Initiatives Ltd., and Archxenus Company Ltd.

The PHDC is represented by its Acting CEO, Dr. Toni Aubynn, and Senior Officer for Business and Development, Grace Afriyie Osei.

Expectations are high that by the conclusion of TICAD-9 on August 22, 2025, these esteemed Ghanaian businesses will have forged meaningful partnerships with Japanese counterparts, initiated promising collaborations, and gained valuable insights from the success stories of Japanโ€™s leading enterprises.

Following the Japan segment, the delegation will proceed to Singapore for the Africa-Singapore Business Summit and subsequently to Malaysia.
