The Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation, Dr Toni Aubynn, together with the Deputy CEO in charge of Operations and Technical, Onasis Rosely, on Friday, August 14, 2026, paid a tribute visit to the family of the late Dr Dramani Bukari, former Deputy CEO of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).
The visit formed part of PHDC’s efforts to commiserate with the family of the late Dr Dramani Bukari and to familiarise themselves with the funeral arrangements.
Speaking during the visit, Dr Toni Aubynn prayed for strength, peace and divine comfort for the family as they deal with the pain and agony of losing a loved one. He beseeched Allah to grant the family the strength and capacity to navigate a very difficult period in their lives.
“We pray that Allah consoles you and gives you the strength you need in this difficult time,” he said.
Dr. Aubynn also noted that the passing of Dr Bukari had left a deep void among colleagues, friends and stakeholders within Ghana’s petroleum industry. He said Dr Bukari’s commitment to serving Ghana and his contribution to the development of the petroleum sector had earned him the respect and admiration of many who had the opportunity to work with him.
“It hits everybody because he was in his prime and committed to serving his country, but Allah knows best. As humans, we came here to commiserate with the family and show how concerned we are about this unfortunate event,” he added.
A representative of the bereaved family, Mr Mohammed Bukari, expressed gratitude to the PHDC delegation for taking time from their schedules to visit and mourn with the family. He also shared details of the funeral arrangements with the delegation.
As the family mourns, the Board, Management and Staff of PHDC join them in remembering Dr. Bukari with respect and gratitude for his service to the nation.
