The Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC), led by Chief Executive Officer Dr. Toni Aubynn and Chief Executive of the Petroleum Commission Emeafa Hardcastle, paid a strategic visit to Halliburton, a global leader in oilfield services, as part of efforts to deepen industry engagement and explore collaboration opportunities.
Dr. Aubynn and Madam Hardcastle were accompanied by PHDC’s Deputy Chief Executive Officers, Onasis Rosely and Halimatu Sadia Abdulai Abu, as well as Senior Manager Business Development Abigail Abrokwa and the Leadership of the Petroleum Commission.
The team toured Halliburton’s state-of-the-art facilities, delving into the company’s rich legacy and innovative technologies that have shaped the oilfield services sector.
The visit offered the PHDC delegation valuable insights into Halliburton’s operations and fostered dialogue on areas of mutual interest, particularly in relation to the development of Ghana’s Petroleum Hub.
This engagement formed part of PHDC’s participation in the recently concluded Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, Texas, held from May 4 to May 8, 2025.
At the conference, Dr. Aubynn and his team delivered impactful presentations and held strategic discussions with global industry leaders and potential investors.
These initiatives underscore PHDC’s commitment to positioning Ghana’s Petroleum Hub as a transformative project that will drive growth in the country’s energy sector and the wider West African sub-region.
