The Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC) is making a strategic impact at the 2025 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, Texas, USA.

The OTC, recognized as a premier global platform for the oil and gas industry, brings together government officials, private sector leaders, and stakeholders from around the world to share insights and explore innovations in the offshore energy sector.

PHDC’s delegation is led by its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Toni Aubynn, and includes Deputy CEO for Operations and Technical, Mr. Onasis Rosely; Deputy CEO for Finance and Administration, Ms. Halimatu Sadia Abdulai; and Senior Business Development Manager, Ms. Abigail Abrokwa.

The Ghanaian delegation, led by the Energy Minister John Abdulai Jinapor comprises the various Agencies under the Ministry of Energy, including the National Petroleum Authority NPA, the Petroleum Commission, Ghana Gas, Ghana National Petroleum Corporation GNPC among others.

Since their arrival on Sunday, May 4, 2025, the PHDC team has embarked on a series of high-level engagements and strategic meetings, aimed at promoting Ghana’s $60 billion Petroleum Hub project to the global investment community.

Dr. Aubynn and his team have delivered multiple presentations and held discussions with business leaders and investor groups, actively positioning the project as a transformational initiative for Ghana’s energy sector and the broader West African region.

PHDC’s participation at the OTC follows the corporation’s successful inaugural Inter-Agency Dialogue, another significant milestone in its mandate to drive the development of the Petroleum Hub.

The Dialogue brought together key stakeholders, including the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Agribusiness, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare; the Deputy Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Hon. Richard Gyan-Mensah; the Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Alhaji Yusif Sulemana; and the Member of Parliament for Jomoro, Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey.

Also in attendance were leaders from various regulatory bodies and partner institutions, underscoring the collaborative approach driving the realization of the Petroleum Hub vision.
