Dr. Toni Aubynn, CEO of the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC) and Board Chairman of Amenfiman Rural Bank and has been honored by the World Confederation of Businesses (WORLDCAB) as a “World Leader in Business.”
The award, presented at a ceremony in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, recognizes Dr. Aubynn’s outstanding contributions to business development in Ghana and across the African continent. A distinguished mining expert and legal practitioner, he was celebrated for his innovative leadership and commitment to advancing the business and commercial landscape in the region.
In a social media post following the ceremony, Dr. Aubynn expressed gratitude for the global recognition, describing it as a source of motivation for the next generation.
“A few moments ago in Atlanta, Georgia, I received recognition from the World Confederation of Businesses (WORLDCAB) as a ‘World Leader in Business’ for being a successful leader who operates in an innovative, knowledgeable, and systematic manner,” he wrote.
“I hope this inspires and motivates young people in Ghana and beyond to envision a bright future. I also thank Amenfiman Rural Bank PLC for giving me the platform to realize my transformative potential.”
He also paid tribute to the Amenfiman Rural Bank for providing opportunities to directly influence and support the growth of businesses across the country.
Since his appointment as CEO of the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation in March, Dr. Aubynn has led key initiatives to drive Ghana’s ambitious petroleum hub agenda. Under his leadership, PHDC successfully hosted its first major public engagement—the Inter-Agency Dialogue—and has taken significant steps toward mobilizing investment for the project’s development.
